About

Our Backstory

Hi, my name is Glen Cortese I am the owner of this online service and I want to introduce myself and start off by saying thank you for taking the time to look into this service. I understand it can be hard to change and the fact that you are willing to allow me the opportunity to tag along and guide you in the right direction means a lot. To give you some of my background I started out playing sports as a kid. I played football, basketball, baseball, and wrestling and continued those sports from grade school all the way through high school. In college I stopped playing sports to focus on my academics, but I still weight trained throughout that time.

I have been training in the gym personally for the better half of 10 years. During that time, I became a personal trainer at my local gym and received my NASM personal training license. I have trained clients from a wide variety of society anywhere from youth softball teams to middle-age 9-5ers and even some elderly folk as well. I've been training clients on and off for the last 4 years and I loved every second of it. Unfortunately, I had to take a break due to career changes. After a bit of time away I realized how much I missed the interactions with my clients and the feeling of helping people achieve their goals. In my personal opinion there is no other experience comparable. Some questions you might have are well why now? What's taken so long?

The truth is I'm currently serving in the military as an Active-Duty member. Now, during my initial phases of training, my personal time was cut down significantly. This was due to the volume and intensity of the career field I was training for. With that being said having the experiences I have now working with and around special forces members and training alongside Division 1 athletes and coaches I can honestly say my experience and perspective in fitness and nutrition has completely changed. My goal Here at WPN is to share my experiences and knowledge with others so that as a society we can become healthier, disciplined, and grateful for not only ourselves but for this great nation we call home.
